LIBRARY AT THISTLY MEADOW PRIMARY SCHOOL

At our school library there are lots of things going on! There are loads of displays up such as a diary of a wimpy kid one with Rowley and Greg on, which is really good and brightens up your day! We have a comfortable and quiet area with really pretty patterned stools and an orange seat which, is really nice to sit down on with a book…
On the highest part of the wall, we have a display saying ‘Life is a learning journey’. Then of course the numerous shelves of books are hard to ignore! We also have a seperate compartment for newspapers. We really enjoy reading these for the latest news on a Friday. Also we have a Library Club which, lots of young and old will go for activites to do and to be read stories by the librarians…
We also have the book of the week which is A series of unfortunate events by Lemony Snicket… We have a box where you can put in in book requests such as Diary of a wimpy kid, that you want to see in the library. Please comment …

Hi Georgia C here, You may have heard about the AMAZING site of incredibox which is a cool thing to do if you’re feeling downhearted and need a bit of music in your life!! All you have to do is type in incredibox in the search tab and your away you don’t need any account or anything like that! Basically you start with a man who you can drag little icons onto those icons equal sounds once you’ve got about 4 men on the go they start to sound really good and soon you will have unlocked a bonus level! (Bonus levels are little songs that have backgroung music as the beats you’ve created, clever hey?) Anyway if you want to have a go for yourself!
